Revlon Colour Stay Exactify Liquid Eyeliner Review

Welcome back to Annmarie’s Beauty Blog. Today I have a review for you all, I know I have not done one in a while. So lets not wait any longer.

I have tried many, many brands of eyeliner.  From the cheap and cheerful to the high-end hotties.  Today I am reviewing  Revlon Colour Stay Exactify

Liquid Eyeliner.  And this actually surprised me, the reason for this is the little applicator. Read on for the full review and to find out more about this applicator.

Review

Revlon has done many amazing innovative products.  Even their ad’s are freakin amazing, and I, like thousands of other people around the world have tried lots of Revlon products. This is not the first eye liner I have tried either, I actually wear one of their eye liners on a daily basis.  So, I did have high hopes for this.

On unscrewing the lid, just like the Revlon eye liner’s before it, the applicator is attached to the lid, but, this applicator is  nothing like any of the other Revlon eyeliner’s I have used.  This is in a very small circular design, it’s also very thin, I didn’t know what to make of it if I am being brutally honest I had never seen another liquid eye liner like it.

However, I was pleasantly surprised.  You can achieve a very straight slim line with it, the thinness of the applicator makes application super easy as well.  You don’t have to worry about your line ending up super thick, lets face it, we have all done it, woke up with the intention of having a super thin, sleek sharp line and ended up with a wiggly line that’s as thick as the heel on a loaf of bread.  Well, this really is fool proof, the circular disc is amazing, its so thin, it would be great for anyone who has never applied liquid liner before.

The formula in this seems to be a little different to any of the other Revlon liquid liner’s I have tried before. It dries super quick, which is something else that seems to top the”top 5 most hated things about liquid eye liners”, and another positive for those liquid eyeliner virgins. To many times has my perfect cat flick been messed up by liquid eye-liner that has not dried properly!!

Now, I don’t know if this is a positive or a negative but to me it is a positive. When this dries it has a slightly shiny finish to it.  I personally do not mind the shiny finish,I actually like it, especially when wearing false lashes, but I am aware that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, so, I thought I’d better give you matte finish ladies out there a bit of a heads up.  That’s not to say that this is not worth a try even if you do prefer matte.  It has so many great reasons to give it a try as opposed one little negative (to some) I just though I would point it out.  C’mon, you guys know me by now, I tell it like it is, whether that’s a pro or a con, news flash….a review is meant to be an honestly written article!

Here is a pic of what I was able to achieve using the ColourStay Exactify Liquid Eyeliner, mine’s is in intense black.

Where To Get It

This is currently available at Superdrug for £8.99.  There are also amazing 3 for 2 deals on at the moment, there are some great bargains to be had.  If you want to check out the eyeliner for your self the just Click Here. You will be taken directly to Superdrug where you can get the low down on those deals.

So there you have it.  That’s my opinion and honest thoughts on the new Revlon Colourstay Exactify Liquid Eyeliner.  I hope this has helped anyone who has been thinking of buying it or for anyone who has been looking for a new product to try.  Especially if you have always been a pencil eyeliner gal and want to make that big step and start using liquid eyeliner, this would be the best liquid liner to go with in my personal opinion.  The applicator just makes the application so much easier.

Live, Love, Slay!!
